Founded in 2008 by a passionate group of local women, our team is dedicated to fostering a supportive hockey environment where players can sharpen their skills, engage in friendly competition, maintain fitness, forge lasting friendships, and above all, revel in the joy of playing hockey. We operate under a flexible structure, welcoming players of all ages. Our roster accommodates full-time and part-time players, ensuring opportunities for all to participate according to their availability.
Throughout the season, we prioritize skill development and camaraderie through regular practices, inter-squad games, and participation in various tournaments. Guided by a dedicated coaching team, we strive to create an environment where every player can thrive and grow, both as an athlete and as an individual.
The season starts in September and concludes towards the end of March. Players are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct, ensuring a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all. Above all else, the Whalers prioritize enjoyment, camaraderie, and the thrill of the game.
