Whalers 7 Mill Bay 4
A game that saw a lot of action on both ends of the rink. The Whalers, taken a bit by surprise, had a slow start allowing the opposition to take the lead early in the game. As the game wore on, the Whalers were able to take control of the play and create many chances and succeed on seven occasions. Goalie Katrin Bizier made some exciting saves to keep the team in the game. Allison Abraham had a very strong game playing incredible defence in front of Bizier but also contributiong to the Whalers offence with two magnificiant goals of her own. Other scorers: Chrissy Sine (2), Lee McGeorge, Josée Bureau and Tera Kasubuchi.
