The Courtenay Whalers will enter their third season this coming September and have a few spots open on the practice roster. Please contact the Whalers at cvwhalershockey@gmail.com if you would like some more information. The team is also looking for a second goalie. Goalies play for free. Spare equipment available.

Josée, I am great in goal. I can block out the low shots and have no problem with the risers. I think you should take me before anyone else tries out. I won’t even push for a separate change room. I’ll just go along with the girls!

Thanks for your interest in the Whalers team. Try outs will be in August. We will then take a few days to make our final decision. I would strongly suggest you send us your measurements first to confirm we have the right equipment for you. I know you would be a great addition to the team…have you considered the score keeping position?
